Das junge Mädchen Cardia trägt ein tödliches Gift in ihrem Körper, das Dinge mit denen sie in Berührung kommt, schmelzen lässt. Als „Monster” wird sie gefürchtet und ist dazu gezwungen, ein Leben in Einsamkeit und Isolation zu führen. Eines Nachts, als sie beinahe von der britischen Armee gefangen genommen wird, trifft sie einen Mann namens Arsène Lupin, der sich selbst als „Gentleman-Dieb“ bezeichnet. Geleitet von Lupin macht sie sich auf den Weg nach London, wo sie vielen unterschiedlichen Personen begegnet und unerwartete Abenteuer erlebt. Während sie zusammen mit Lupin und Co. agiert, beginnt Cardia langsam, die Geheimnisse um ihren eigenen Körper sowie ihre verlorenen Erinnerungen zu lüften. Was verbirgt sich hinter der Wahrheit und dem Wunsch des als Monster bezeichneten Mädchens?
