2061. Cinquante ans on passé depuis que les hommes ont développé leur réseau social. Il était prévu que cette nouvelle infrastructure soit une utopie (les gens devaient être connectés les uns avec les autres par leur conscience). Mais, de nouveaux problèmes surgirent. En effet les données commencèrent à proliférer et à faire surface; les personnes étant toujours reliées entre elles. Les informations ne pouvaient être effacées. En même temps, un autre réseau plus sécurisé s'est développé, il s'appelle "Meta Real", connu sous le nom de "The Metal". Ce réseau confère une grande sécurité pour les personnes l'utilisant. Les informations continuèrent cependant à être exposées à la conscience de chacun, provoquant parfois du désir. Un jour, des conflits entre les deux mondes se montrèrent au grand jour et les experts trouvèrent en effet de nombreuses aberrations dans les systèmes...
