Het jonge meisje Cardia draagt een dodelijk gif in haar lichaam dat dingen smelt waarmee ze in contact komt. Als een 'monster' wordt ze gevreesd en gedwongen een leven van eenzaamheid en isolement te leiden. Op een nacht, wanneer ze bijna gevangen wordt genomen door het Britse leger, ontmoet ze een man genaamd Arsène Lupin, die zichzelf omschrijft als een 'gentleman dief'. Onder begeleiding van Lupin baant ze zich een weg naar Londen, waar ze veel verschillende mensen ontmoet en onverwachte avonturen beleeft. Terwijl ze samen met Lupos en Co. acteert, begint Cardia langzaam de geheimen rond haar eigen lichaam en haar verloren herinneringen te ontrafelen. Wat zit er achter de waarheid en de wens van het meisje dat wordt beschreven als een monster?
